Finance
and Budget Review Committee
The
Finance and Budget Review Committee is a six member committee
of residents appointed by the City Commission to review
the annual budget, general financial condition of the city,
perform other duties and make recommendations to
the City Commission as appropriate.
The
Committee normally holds four meetings each summer to review
the annual budget, with meeting dates and times established
by a majority vote of the members. Additionally, special
meetings of the Finance and Budget Review Committee are sometimes
called by the City Commission to address specific issues.
The
televised Committee meetings are held in the Commission
Chambers at City Hall and are open to the public. Public
comments and suggestions are always welcome.
