The "A" Parking Permit is issued to both residents and business owners in the Pass-a-Grille area of St. Pete Beach.

To qualify for an "A" Permit the individual property owner must meet zoning regulations. Motel and hotel owners without ample off street parking are also eligible to purchase these permits.

The permits are accepted at all metered parking spaces south of 32nd Ave. and are valid for the calendar year in which they were issued.  These permits are not pro-rated and vary in cost.

"B" permits are valid at all meters within the city.  Both residents and non-residents are eligible to purchase these permits.  They are valid for the calendar year in which they were purchased and are valid at all metered spaces with the EXCEPTION OF THE COUNTY PARK located at 4700 Gulf Blvd.  These decals must be permanently affixed to the vehicles back bumper or rear window.
"D" permits are issued to residents in the Pass-a-Grille who do not have ample off street parking, and whose surrounding streets are controlled by parking meters.  These decals must be permanently affixed to the vehicles back bumper or rear window.
The "E" Parking Permit is similar to the "A" permit and is issued to residents and condominium guests in the Sunset and Beach Plaza area of St. Pete Beach.

To qualify for an "E" Permit the individual property / business owner must meet zoning regulations. Motel and hotel owners without ample off street parking are also eligible to purchase these permits.

The permits are accepted at metered parking spaces as well as restricted side street parking in the Sunset and Beach Plaza areas in the northern section of the city. These permits are valid for the calendar year in which they were purchased.

The police department also offers a number of "Specialty Permits".  These permits are temporary in nature and allow for parking by guests in restricted "D" areas and at meters, while using the Merry Pier facilities as well as a number of other circumstances.

*Please note that none of the parking permits issued by this city are valid for parking in the Pinellas County park located at 4700 Gulf Blvd.
