FY2008 Budget
Recent action by the State Legislature mandated that local governments reduce their property tax revenues in the coming year.  The actual amount required to be reduced is based upon increases in tax revenues received over the past several years.  In St. Pete Beach the amount of reduction required is 9% of the assessed value for last fiscal year.  The result is a reduction in millage to 2.3764 (currently 2.6), or approximately $615,000.
