City Manager Mike Bonfield

Mike started as the City Manager for the City of St. Pete Beach on January 28, 2002. His prior work experience included three years as City Manager in Madeira Beach, Florida (1999-2002) and seventeen years in Gulfport, Florida (1982-1999) serving in a variety of positions, most recently as Director of Community Services. Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tampa (1983) and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of South Florida(1993).

The City Manager is appointed by and serves the City Commission as the chief administrative official to oversee and direct everyday governmental operations.
