Sister City Agreement

The City of St. Pete Beach,

in the State of Florida, the United States of America,

and

The City of Sandown,

on the Isle of Wight, Great Britain,

as well as the citizens of both cities, shall endeavor

to deepen friendship and mutual understanding

between the two cities through

educational, cultural and commercial exchanges,

with the goal of strengthening the ties

of friendship between Great Britain and America

while holding the firm belief

that this agreement will contribute toward

the peace and prosperity of the world,

do hereby pledge to cooperate with each other

as twin/sister cities.
