2023 Parking Permits

Annual Residential parking permits are now free! If you had a 2022 Annual Residential B, 2R-U, 3R-B, 3R-D, or 4R parking permit, it has been automatically renewed for 2023. If you had a 2022 residential permit and it is not showing up on your customer account, please email parking@stpetebeach.org to get your link code. If you would like your permit to automatically renew for future cycles, please login to your account and enable the auto-renew feature. 

All other permit types, including Guest Permits can be purchased or renewed online or in person. If you are purchasing a new permit for 2023, please see the information in the tabs below for information on how to apply. 

As a reminder, all parking permits are now digital and enforced through license plate recognition (LPR) software. Your license plate must be visible from the drive lane for enforcement purposes. Back in and/or pull through parking is not allowed, and your right wheels must abut the curb for parallel spaces. 

2023 Parking Permits

Permits are only available for residents of St. Pete Beach who either own property or have a lease for 6 months or longer within the same calendar year.

Notice: Per the St. Pete Beach Code of Ordinances 82-207, back in and pull through parking is illegal in metered parking spaces. The license plate must be clearly visible from the drive lane.

Annual residential permits are associated with a specific license plate You will need to purchase an annual permit for each vehicle you own and want a permit for. Residential permits are non-transferrable and any changes to residential permits will only be made with City approval.

Application Requirements

Property Owners:

Residents who own their home need to provide a current driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of residency. 

Acceptable proof of residency: 

  • County Tax Bill 
  • Utility Bill (Pinellas County or Duke Energy) 

Please note: Your driver's license does not have to display your St. Pete Beach address, but you will need to provide an alternate proof of residency that clearly shows both your name and the local address. 

Renters:

Residents who lease their home need to provide a current driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of residency. 

Acceptable proof of residency: 

  • County Tax Bill
  • Utility Bill (Pinellas County or Duke Energy) 
  • Lease agreement for a period of 6 months or longer in year of issuance

Please note: Your driver's license does not have to display your St. Pete Beach address. However, if it does not, you must show your lease and one additional proof of residency that shows both your name and the local address.

Residents living in the 4R, 3R-B, 3R-D, or 2R-U areas are eligible to get one day "party pack" guest permits. Please bring a proof of residency when picking up these permits. 

These permits are $3 each and you can get up to 20 at a time. 

Party Pack permits are good only for the designated day.
